Bring Out the Boos 2022 Day 30: "Button Drop Martini" (Inspired by "Coraline") By: The Film Bartender     "Coraline" is a very famous film during the Halloween season, adding that creepy and unsettling effect of horror movies that is combined with the family friendly qualities for the entire family to enjoy together. One of the most famous (perhaps, infamous) scenes and plot devices used in this movie is the inclusion of the button eyes on the main antagonists, terrifying younger children and permanently engraving that vision in their head. Due to that, it is the inspiration of the cocktail for Day 30, the "Button Drop Martini"! Keep reading to check out the full plot and details of the classic Tim Burton film, as well as the full recipe for this devilishly good drink!     "Coraline" is a 2009 animated film that was written and directed by Henry Selick, and produced by Tim Burton.   Bring Out the Boos 2022 Day 29: "Night of the Living Dead" By: The Film Bartender     Zombies are a major part of the horror genre today, and it seems like there wasn't a time where zombies haunted both adults and children every Halloween and in shows and films like "The Walking Dead". However, we can credit the major breakthrough of the zombie genre to one George A. Romero, who made the 1968 horror film, "Night of the Living Dead"! This movie brought zombies to the big screen, with a group of survivors holed up in a house with no way out. Even today, it's hard not to feel Romero's presence in every film project that involves zombies or the living dead. Because of that, the drink for Day 29 of my 2022 "Bring Out the Boos" series is inspired by the classic Romero film, adding a modern twist on the black and white genre mixed with a blood red color! They bring in a group of subjects, and track their vitals to see which movie provokes the highest amount of scares in the audience. Since the creation of this scientific study, one movie has remained in the number 1 spot - Scott Derrickson's 2012 film, "Sinister", which is the inspiration for today's drink! Throughout the film's numerous jumpscares, there is one that stands out above the rest - the lawnmower jumpscare. Keep reading below to find out what this film is, and the ingredients and directions to make your very own Bloody Lawnmower!     "Sinister" is a 2012 film that was written by C. Robert Cargill and Scott Derrickson, with Derrickson in the d

Bring Out the Boos 2022 Day 27: "Freddy's Brew" (Inspired by "A Nightmare on Elm Street") By: The Film Bartender     Slasher films are perhaps one of the biggest subgenres in the horror genre, and is definitely a fan favorite around the world. However, the slasher movies would not be what they are without their iconic villains, which audiences love more than the actual protagonists of the film. Among some of the most famous slasher villains, which include Ghostface, Michael Myers, and Jason Voorhees, is Freddy Krueger from the famous "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series, terrifying audiences to make them want to stay awake so Freddy won't haunt their dreams. Today is Day 27 of my Bring Out the Boos 2022 series, and our drink for today is split into three different parts that I call "Freddy's Brew". Not only do these taste devilishly good, but they'll help keep you awake so Freddy won't get you in your dreams!     "A Night
